Atlanta, GA [October 18, 2024] – Sylvan Road Capital was excited to participate again this year in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Atlanta, Georgia. Our walking team, the Sylvan Road Warriors, raised money to support the American Cancer Society and its mission to improve the lives of those with cancer.
“We’re so proud to be part of this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. It’s a chance for us to come together as a community to raise awareness, support those affected, and help fund the research that’s so important. We’re walking for survivors, for those we’ve lost, and for the breakthroughs that will make a difference in the future,” said Brian Fox, Chief Marketing Officer at Sylvan Road, who participated in the walk.
About 45 Sylvan Road employees, family members, and colleagues joined the two-mile walk. All participants wore bright pink to honor the survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and to support the charity.
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk was a huge success, raising nearly $700,000. On site activities included a tribute garden, tutu contest, digital photobooth, food trucks and a special appearance by Freddie the Falcon, the mascot of the Atlanta Falcons.
